An Expiring Hilton Card Offer, Upromise and More!

October 27, 2015 By Leana 2 Comments

Just a  few reminders for y’all:

1) The 75K points offer on Citi Hilton HHonors Signature card is due to expire on October 31st. There is also $25 credit if you pay for a qualifying  car rental. This is actually a decent offer, in fact, it’s the highest it’s ever been. I recommend you take a look at your plans and if no other bonus seems appealing, at least consider it. Here is a non-affiliate link.

2) New IHG PointBreaks list is now bookable. Don’t delay making your reservation, you can always cancel if your plans change. You are allowed 2 reservations per account, but they can be for as long as you like.

3) This isn’t a hot offer per se, but US Bank has increased the sign-up bonus on Avianca Lifemiles co-branded credit card. It now offers 35K miles after meeting minimum spend. Avianca is a Star partner, and miles can be redeemed on domestic United flights (no fuel surcharges). More details here

4) If you join Upromise shopping portal before 12/31/2015 through my link and make a purchase, we both will get $20. Of course, you can also refer others if you are already a member. Details here Email me at milesforfamily@gmail.com and I will be happy to send you a referral link. (h/t Doctorofcredit)

Looks like I waited too long…the Citi Hilton HHonors Signature card is back to 40k points vice 75k.

Looks like the Citi reps did not want to wait much today before pulling the offer…it’s only 7:30 pm EST.

Next time I better be quicker – I’ll keep watching out! If you have an affiliated link, please post or E-mail me. Thanks!

BB, shoot, I just saw that! I was about to email you. I’m very sorry. You may want to call Citi and see if they’ll extend it over the phone. Get the name of the rep, of course. It probably won’t work, but worth a shot.
Unfortunately, my affiliate offer is only for 40K points. Definitely pass. Citi Hilton Reserve pays me, but it’s up to you if you want to go for it. Like I said, sometimes there is additional credit offered. It could be a good deal, but only if you have a fancy property in mind. There are many other cards to consider, of course. Email me with your future plans, and I can recommend one. Otherwise, take a look at my list of bonuses in “Best credit card deals for family” page.
