Looks like a great trip! You can use Avios to book Bangkok Airways flights for good value as unlike AirAsia etc the fare includes a checked bag. But you probably already booked your flights! Be sure to check out the Coral lounge domestic BKK it has this wonderful crab curry soup that might be my fav lounge food anywhere! You’ve packed a lot in for 15 days hope you can find time to enjoy 🙂

I haven’t been to Singapore yet, but the Night Safari is definitely on my list when I do go. I’d suggest looking into it.

Thanks for sharing. It’s interesting to see how much the scale of points and cash pricing is changing. SE Asia used to be one of cheapest regions to travel to before 2020, but lately became more popular along with Japan/Korea and the prices show that increase.
Also airlines don’t shy away from doubling up on surcharges on award tickets. “Ideal” days of flying anywhere in the wold on United with just $5.60 per one-way are long gone… But still miles and points can be used to save a bunch – that’s how I look at it. Looks like you were able to put together a wonderful itinerary – so enjoy your trip, the places you visit, and soak up the culture and tastes!

    Happy travels!!

@Aleks Thanks for your comment! Most of my award taxes were from my Cathay Pacific flights ($300+ per person). But, still worth it, in my opinion, for those Premium Economy Seats on the long flight home. Food and excursions are still pretty cheap in Thailand, from what I can tell.
