Miles For Family

Nancy and her family

Hi–My name is Nancy and I am excited to be writing at Miles For Family. Best job ever! I live in the suburbs of Dallas with my husband and our three kids. I’m a huge fan of family travel, but my favorite part is researching and planning vacations! I might be a little obsessed with all things Disney.

Most of our family trips have been to Disney parks and on Disney Cruise Line, but as my kids get older we are branching out to new destinations. I stumbled upon this miles and points hobby a few years ago, and it has provided me with the means to go on many more trips than I would have been able to afford otherwise. Email me at nancy@milesforfamily.com.

Hey, guys! Thanks for stopping by. I grew up in Eastern Europe and moved to United States at the age of nineteen. At that time, I had no clue what frequent flyer miles were, and stumbled upon them by sheer accident. Before long, my husband and I were flying from Florida  to Maui for $10 out-of-pocket. And just like that, I was hooked.

This site is meant for normal middle-class families who can’t afford to fly in first-class (not that there is anything wrong with that!) We show folks how they can leverage their good credit score to finally take that long-awaited trip to Hawaii, Europe, you name it. Travel isn’t free, and we can’t promise that you won’t have any out-of-pocket expenses. But we can promise that with the right planning and effort it is possible to take trips for pennies on the dollar. Nancy and I have done it multiple times.

  3. Points joy is awesome! I’ve always played with Airline programs but never hotels until last year. Getting ready to burn 200k IHG points on Point Breaks in the US Next year, I never thought I’d be able to get 2 months of Hotel Rooms free!
