As I mentioned in my “About” section, I will occasionally highlight good deals in general, not just in travel world. Well, for those of you, who live near IKEA store, there is a chance to have a meal there for free. Apparently, when you sign up for their catalog, they will send you a coupon for an entree up to 5.99 in value, enough to pay for a salmon lasagne!
It says, one per transaction, so technically, a husband and a wife can each get a coupon and just buy meals separately. I suggest, you at least pay for a dessert though, not to be a complete freeloader! Did you know, that IKEA offers free babysitting club too at their stores? So no need to hire anyone to watch the kids, just bring them along and dump them with trained childcare staff !
We did that once, but our kid got kicked out for misbehaving. Not a proud moment for me, as a parent. Anyway, I love IKEA, probably because I am from Europe and it reminds me of home. So, go and have a free date night dinner, babysitting included (as long, as the child behaves, of course). Go to website www.getthecatalog.com , apparently offer looks something like this:
Enjoy a FREE meal on us!
Bring this coupon to your local IKEA store, and you’ll receive a free entrée (up to $5.99 value) in our restaurant.
See your local IKEA store for details. Restaurant food purchased must be consumed on the premises. Limit one coupon per transaction. Coupons must be printed. No photocopies of this coupon will be accepted. Offer not valid for Bistro or Swedish Food Market purchase. No cash value. Not valid on previous purchase and cannot be combined with other offers. Offer not valid at IKEA Home Shopping. Swedish meatballs not included in restaurant offer at IKEA Carson.
Offer valid 7/31/2013 – 8/14/2013
