“New” Capital One Venture Business Card with up to 150k Bonus Miles

April 15, 2026 By Nancy Leave a Comment

Yesterday, Capital One launched a rebranding of the Spark Miles business credit card. The card is now the Capital One Venture Business card (affiliate link). The new name mirrors the card’s personal counterpart, the Capital One Venture Rewards card. Along with this new name, the card has a limited time elevated welcome bonus of up to 150,000 bonus miles.

  • Up to 150,000 bonus miles
    • 75,000 bonus miles after spending $7500 in the first 3 months
    • An additional 75,000 bonus miles after spending a total o $30k in the first 6 months
  • $50 annual Capital One Business Travel credit
  • $50 annual credit for advertising or software
  • Up to $120 TSA Precheck/Global Entry credit every 4 years
  • 5X miles on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Business Travel
  • 2X miles on all other purchases
  • $95 annual fee

Historically, Capital One business cards have reported to personal credit bureaus, affecting your Chase 5/24 number (Chase will only approve you for a new card if you’ve opened less than 5 new credit cards in the past 24 months). However, there is some discussion on reddit and Doctor of Credit that this rebranded card might not show up on personal credit reports. However, it’s too early to see data points yet, so I wouldn’t count on that.

Overall, this is a decent welcome bonus for a $95 annual fee card, even if you can only spend for the first 75k bonus. The credits more than offset the annual fee, and earning 2X miles on all purchases is a solid card product. Capital One has a nice selection of transfer partners, and using miles to offset travel expenses via statement credits is always a good option.
