How anyone can get Hilton Gold Status for 3 months

Bilt Rewards just came out with its October Rent Day promotions. The most interesting promotion is the free Hilton Gold Status for Bilt Rewards members along with a status challenge.

You do not have to sign up for a Bilt credit card to sign up for Bilt Rewards.

Hilton Gold Status

Steps to get Hilton Gold Status from Oct 1 through December 31, 2024:

Sign up for a Hilton Honors rewards number (if you’re not already a member)
Sign up for a Bilt Rewards membership (free to sign up, no credit card app required)
On October 1, link your Hilton Honors rewards number to Bilt under the promotion and activate Hilton Honors Gold Status

Any Bilt member who racks up 8 Hilton nights during the promotional period (Oct 1-Dec 31) will be awarded Hilton Gold Status through March 31, 2026.

To earn Hilton Honors Diamond status, Bilt Members who are Bilt Blue, Bilt Silver or Bilt Gold at the time of registration must complete 14 qualifying nights by December 31, 2024; Bilt Members who are Bilt Platinum at the time of registration must complete 10 qualifying nights by December 31, 2024.

Who should do this?

If you have any Hilton hotel stays from October through December and you don’t already have Hilton Gold Status, this is an easy win. At the minimum, Hilton Honors Gold Status will get you a free food credit (domestic hotels) or free breakfast (international hotels) during your stay. If you don’t have the 8 Hilton nights required to extend the status, no worries. At least you got the benefits during the 3-month trial period.
