April 2024 Transfer Bonuses

April 2, 2024 By Nancy 2 Comments

When banks offer transfer bonuses to certain travel partners, you can stretch your miles and points for even more free travel. There are a currently a few transfer bonuses happening for April 2024, although some of these are a continuation from last month. As always, I don’t recommend transferring points unless you see specific award availability you can book now.

Capital One to Virgin Red

New this month, Capital One has a 30% transfer bonus to Virgin Red. You can link your Virgin Red account to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and use points to fly to Europe on Virgin Atlantic or SkyTeam partner airlines. This bonus ends at 10:59 p.m. EST on April 30, 2024.

Chase to Air France/KLM Flying Blue

Chase has a 25% transfer bonus to Air France/KLM Flying Blue program through April 30, 2024. I’m a big fan of the Flying Blue program, and I have used these miles to book business class flights to Europe and Asia.

Citi to Avianca LifeMiles

Citi is continuing its 30% transfer bonus to Avianca LifeMiles through April 13, 2024. I’ve used Avianca LifeMiles to fly on United flights.

American Express to Etihad Guest

This 20% transfer bonus to Etihad Guest will expire in a few days on April 4, 2024.

Citi to Accor

Through May 11, 2024, Citi has a 50% transfer bonus to Accor hotels. This means you get 750 Accor points for every 1000 Citi ThankYou points.

Amex to Virgin

From now through May 31, 2024, American Express has a 30% transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic. In addition to flights on Virgin Atlantic, you can use Virgin points to book flights on Delta and try to book those elusive business class flights to Japan on ANA.

I’m really needing Bilt, Amex, Chase, or CapOne to come through with a transfer bonus to British Airways. A 40% transfer bonus to BA would be clutch right now.

Oh and Wells Fargo, it’s April now. Isn’t the ability to transfer to their partners supposed to be live now?

@2808 Yes, a BA transfer bonus would be nice. I believe the Wells Fargo transfers will start April 4.
