A few days ago, Holland America announced a new benefit for AARP Members. An onboard credit of $50-$200 per stateroom is now available for AARP members who book their cruises through Holland America directly or through a travel agent.
Anyone can join AARP, there is no age requirement. Last November during a Black Friday promo, I joined AARP for just $3/year!
The amount of the onboard credit depends on the length of voyage and type of stateroom. For cruises 5-9 days long, inside and ocean view staterooms receive a $50 onboard credit while verandahs and suites receive a $100 onboard credit. Cruises that are 10+ days in length receive up to $200 in onboard credit.
This onboard credit is stackable with other promotions and onboard credit. Passengers can use onboard credit for excursions, spa treatments, specialty dining, beverages and more.
“Holland America Line is thrilled to extend this offer to AARP members, who are avid travelers and a key demographic for our brand,” said Kacy Cole, chief marketing officer, Holland America Line. “We look forward to enticing AARP members to join us for a cruise to one of the many incredible destinations we explore.”
This offer is available for all voyages except Grand Voyages, Grand Voyage segments and voyages less than five days. See the press release here and more information on how to link your AARP membership here. Unfortunately, this onboard credit is not retroactive and is only for new bookings.
In addition to this onboard credit with Holland America, AARP members can purchase Holland America gift cards for 10% off on the AARP Rewards site.
