Frontier Airlines introduces GoWild! Summer Pass for $399

January 31, 2023 By Nancy 1 Comment

Last year, Frontier Airlines introduced a new annual all-you-can-fly pass, the GoWild! pass. See this post. It started selling in November for an introductory price of $599 for the year. Now, the price has increased to $999/year.

But today, Frontier Airlines announced a summer version of this all-you-can-fly pass for $399. Let’s look at the details.

GoWild! Summer Pass

The Summer Pass is valid May 2, 2023 through September 30, 2023 for a cost of $399. This pass is more suitable for students and teachers with the summer off.

You can book domestic travel the day before and international travel up to 10 days before departure. With the GoWild! pass, you will pay one cent for your flight and still be responsible for taxes and fees.

Blackout days for the summer include: May 25, 26, 29; June 29, 30; July 1-5, 8, 9; August 31; September 1, 4.

Flights and seats are subject to availability. You do not earn status or miles for these flights.

Your pass is automatically renewed for the next year (or the next summer) if you don’t cancel.

Age restrictions: You must be 18 years or older and a resident of the United States to purchase the GoWild! Pass. The pass holder may be under the age of 18 but must be a resident of the United States. Pass holders under the age of 13 must be enrolled by their parent or legal guardian. Children under the age of 15 years old must travel accompanied by a passenger who is at least 15 years old.

My Thoughts

This summer pass could be a great thing for older students and teachers who have the summer off. I worry about seat availability, though, and the logistics of hotel reservations on short notice. But hey, this could be a great thing for the right person who has a lot of flexibility this summer!

Does the GoWild! Summer Pass tempt you?
