Tomorrow, June 16, Southwest Airlines will extend its flight schedules through January 4, 2023. Currently, you can only book flights through November 5, 2022. This extension covers the busy winter holiday season.
As a reminder, Southwest has one of the most flexible policies when it comes to repricing flights. If you book now and then the price of your flight goes down later, you can rebook at the lower price and get a travel credit for a future flight. If you purchased the flight with Southwest Rapid Rewards points, you can reprice and get a refund in points for the difference.
Normally, I’m very excited for Southwest’s release dates because I usually find some bargains. This year, with the crazy flight prices, I’m not so sure. I’m trying to find reasonably-priced flights for Thanksgiving week.
For those looking tomorrow, may the odds be ever in your favor!
