The ONE Black Friday Travel Deal I'm Buying

So, it’s Black Friday, and most people are out shopping or pouring over deals online. I’ve looked at deals online, but I haven’t been tempted by many. Why? They don’t fit into my existing travel plans. I very much agree with this post on View From the Wing. Don’t buy what you don’t need!

However, there is one thing I purchased, and I’m pleased with the deal.

My One Black Friday Purchase

Currently, Royal Caribbean has a Black Friday sale on their Cruise Planner. This is the website where people who have already booked cruises can pre-purchase beverage packages, excursions, WI-FI and more. I’ve been planning to purchase the soda package for a few members of my family, and today the price went down to $5.99 a day.

The price is 50% off. The cheapest I’ve seen the soda package is $8.99 per day. When we sailed in 2019 I think I paid $9.99 a day for my boys. So, I’m happy with this sale price.

Nope, this isn’t an earth-shattering deal where I’m saving hundreds or thousands of dollars. But, it does save me some money on something that’s already in my plans.
