I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday weekend! Here are some interesting stories from around the web:
Are All-inclusive Resorts Worth It? We Tried It, and It’s Not Our Thing: I love this honest review of the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos on Miles to Memories. All-inclusive resorts aren’t for everybody. I will say, though, that not every all-inclusive resort has this type of party vibe. The resorts we stayed at in Cancun and Puerto Vallarta were more laid back.
The Vaccinated and Unvaccinated are Traveling to Different Places: This is an interesting post on Your Mileage May Vary. I love looking at statistics. Even the travel community is divided!
The Reasons Why Business Travel Will Come Back: Live and Let’s Fly makes some good points about why business travel will come back. I’ve enjoyed my husband being home more due to less business travel, for sure. I think he misses it a little, though.
It’s Getting Harder to Travel to Europe–Even If You’re Vaccinated: This post on TPG is concerning to me since we already booked flights to Europe for next summer. I know a lot can change in a year.

There was one comment on the all-inclusive article that summed up my thoughts perfectly:
“Not really sure I understand your argument. So one all inclusive had an obnoxious party scene, and that means every all inclusive is the same way and not worth it? And now you write them all off because of one bad experience? What if that DJ party scene was at a non all inclusive? Would you just stop staying at hotels altogether?”
Nailed it.

@projectx Yes, good point! But I still appreciate their review of that particular place because I’d rather not have the 24/7 party vibe wherever I stay.

Yeah I’ll be scratching that one off the list for sure.
