Disney Parks Blog just announced plans to unveil details about its newest ship, the Disney Wish. Next Thursday, April 29, 2021, the grand unveiling Once Upon A Disney Wish starts at 11:00 EST.
The 30-minute presentation will be hosted by Ashley Long, cruise director for the Disney Wish. The virtual event will reveal details about the ship along with character appearances and surprise performances.
Disney Cruise Line has remained relatively mum on details for this new cruise ship. While we do know that Cinderella will grace the atrium and Captain Minnie will be painted on the ship’s hull, we don’t know much about the ship’s dining and entertainment options.
The Disney Wish will begin sailing in Summer 2022. I hope this unveiling also reveals the timeframe for when the opening itineraries will go on sale.
