Yesterday, Disney Cruise Line announced Summer 2021 itineraries and schedules covering May through September 2021. The announcement was delayed a few days and without the usual fanfare that goes with an itinerary extension (likely due to recent bad publicity of cruise ships in the news with coronavirus).
The Disney Magic will return to Europe and the Disney Wonder will return to Alaska. The Disney Dream will continue 3- and 4-night cruises to The Bahamas, while the Disney Fantasy will continue to sail 7-night (and one 9-night) Caribbean cruises. You can view all of the cruises in the DCL brochure here.
The Disney Magic is the only ship visiting any new ports of call for DCL. It will stop at new ports in Greece, Sweden and Norway.
DCL’s new ship, the Disney Wish, is not part of this release. This ship will not start sailing until early 2022, and itineraries are expected to go on sale later this year.
The tiered booking schedule for these new cruises is as follows:
- Today, February 25, bookings are only available to Platinum Castaway Club members as well as residents of Disney’s Golden Oaks.
- Wednesday, February 26, bookings are open to Gold Castaway Club members.
- Thursday, February 27, bookings are open to Silver Castaway Club members, Adventures by Disney Insiders and DVC members.
- Friday, February 28, bookings are open to the general public.
Disney Cruise Line blog has sample price points for 2 adults based on today’s opening prices for Platinum members.
Readers, are you excited about any of these itineraries? Who is booking this week?
