Spoiler-free Rise of the Resistance Review, Getting Hostile at a Hostel and More

December 6, 2019 By Nancy Leave a Comment

Spoiler-free Rise of the Resistance Review: The new ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios opened yesterday, with a media preview the day before. See this spoiler-free review by Disney Tourist Blog. I am a little concerned about the downtime the ride has already experienced in the past 2 days. This ride is the main reason my family is going to Disney World next summer, and we will only have one day at Hollywood Studios.

Getting Hostile at a Hostel: I enjoyed reading Ian’s recent experience at a hostel near the Barcelona airport. I would not get any sleep at all, even with earplugs.

When Your Credit Card is Rejected While Traveling: I’m sure this has happened to all of us. This post from Your Mileage May Vary has some very practical advice.

Hyatt Devaluation Questions Answers: I know that much has been written about the recent peak/non-peak announcement by Hyatt. I always enjoy reading other people’s perspectives, including this post from Mark at Miles to Memories. The bottom line is we won’t know how this all is going to shake out for a few more months. But, it could be worse. And, it could work out better for some folks who can travel during non-peak times.
