More Variable Award Pricing, Missing Home, Amazon Returns at Kohl’s and More

Chase 30% Transfer Bonus: In case you missed this in Leana’s post earlier this week, Chase launched its first ever transfer bonus. From now through June 16, you get a 30% bonus when you transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards to British Airways Avios. I actually just took advantage of this special bonus, and I’ll have a post about it next week.

Hawaiian Airlines Moves to Variable Award Pricing: Once one airline goes there, they all jump on the bandwagon. Hawaiian Airlines just moved to variable award pricing. See this post from TPG. This seems like bad news all around, as none of the awards are lower, but flights from the east coast now start higher.

Return Amazon Products at Kohl’s: So this isn’t exactly travel news, but it affects a lot of people. Starting this summer, all Kohl’s stores will accept Amazon returns. Kohl’s is everywhere and has better hours than the post office, so this could add extra convenience for many people. See this article.
