Taking Virtual School on the Road: This post on TPG brings up new travel opportunities for families who can do remote learning from a more desired location. School on the beach is better than school at home, right? Last May, my family traveled to a cabin in Broken Bow while remote learning was going on. However, I don’t see us doing anything like that this year. Back in the spring, we were more locked down and most activities were canceled. Now, my boys will still be going to school for tennis team every day. Plus, virtual learning here now contains more synchronous zoom meetings.
Don’t Mess with Chase: Read this cautionary tale from Traveling for Miles. My palms were sweating! Now is not the time to bluff about wanting to cancel a card, especially that one!
Uber Takes a Page Out of Amazon’s Book: See this post on Miles to Memories about a no-rush delivery option on UberEats to save $1. I’ve been using DoorDash lately due to the perks from the Chase Sapphire Reserve Card (free DashPass plus credits). I will be annoyed if I have to start paying more for hotter, fresher deliveries. Most food I get is already lukewarm as it is.
Hawaii Considering Resort Bubble for Quarantined Visitors: See this post on Your Mileage May Vary. Would you go to Hawaii if you could enjoy the amenities of your resort, but still not leave the resort?
