Promos You Should Consider Now (Before It Is Too Late)

Yes, you read that right. I’ve always wanted to become a marketer. No, none of these pay me any incentive. Without further ado:

1. Last reminder on “Accelerate” promo from IHG. The stay has  to be completed before December 31st. Read my post for more details. Definitely check your offer even if you have no travel plans coming up in a near future.
2. Speaking of IHG… Have you heard of their latest promo “Priceless surprises”? I wanted to see some data before encouraging readers to participate. Well, it appears we have some reports of success. Here is the bottom line: If you are willing to spend several hours writing the same thing over and over again, there is a decent chance you’ll end up with 47K IHG points for only $56. I’m in. 3. Get 2,015 SPG points for just 1-night stay as long as it occurs before the end of the year. Register here (h/t Travelcodex)
4. Get a 25% bonus on transfers from Amex Membership Rewards to Iberia Avios program through 12/31/2015. Read this post on instances where you may want to consider it. Short version: Iberia Avios points transfer to BA Avios 1:1, but only if both of your accounts were open for at least 90 days and had some miles in them at the time of the transfer. Obviously, this is an excellent arbitrage opportunity. Be aware, BA Avios program will eliminate 4,500 mile redemption effective 2.2.2016. So, if you don’t have both accounts open right now, you missed your chance. That said, 7,500 mile redemption (and other good deals) will still be there. If you have plans to redeem Avios in a near future(either from Iberia account or BA), consider pulling the trigger.
