We’ve known for a while that DFW is getting a 3rd passenger airport. And it happens to be in the city where I live!
Avelo is the first airline to fly out of McKinney this coming November. And yesterday, the airline announced the first routes to debut.
5 Nonstop Flights Out of McKinney, Texas (DTX Airport)
The routes are:
- Las Vegas (4X weekly)
- Orlando, FL (5X weekly)
- Tampa, FL (4X weekly)
- Fort Lauderdale, FL (5X weekly)
- Fort Myers, FL (2X weekly)
Avelo is offering a special for one-way tickets at $99 + first checked bag free through the end of July.
I’m very excited about these new routes. DTX is a small airport with only 4 gates, and it’s much closer to my home than DAL or DFW airports. I’m excited to see these Florida destinations for sure!
