Travel Accessories I’m Bringing to Europe

June 6, 2024 By Nancy Leave a Comment

For my imminent trip to Europe, I’m bringing a few new travel accessories as well as ones I’ve used on prior trips. Note: I am not affiliated with Amazon or these products.

Travelon Anti-theft Crossbody Bag

On previous trips, I’ve used a regular handbag and/or a belt bag/fanny pack. But, since this is a longer trip visiting many popular places, I decided to up my game and get an anti-theft bag. After reading reviews, I ordered this Travelon Anti-theft Crossbody Bag.

It’s slash-resistant and the zippers hook together to make it difficult for pick-pockets to access. The bag also has an RFID blocking compartment.

JISULIFE Portable Handheld Fan

I bought this portable handheld fan a few months ago for my other job, and I love it. It charges via USB cable, it can be configured to have a stand, and it has a flashlight. I frequently get hot on planes, so I’m bringing this with me primarily for my flights.

BCOZZY Neck Brace Pillow–Flat Back Gray

Some of you may recall that I tried the Cabeau neck pillow on my last trip to Europe, and it did not work out for me. So, I tried this BCOZZY neck pillow in the flat back version on my recent trip to Costa Rica, and I liked it much better. I had an older version of a BCOZZY neck pillow that I liked before, but this newer version has a carrying case as well as velcro closure.

We have a 5-hour train ride on this trip and we are flying home in economy seats, so I’m counting on this neck pillow to help me sleep.

HOKA Anacapa Low GTX Hiking Shoes

My husband has a pair of HOKA hiking shoes for everyday walking around, and he swears by them. They saved his feet from getting wet in Portugal and Costa Rica. He convinced me to try these HOKA Anacapa hiking shoes for the trip. They are lightweight, water resistant and very grippy. Plus, I love the available colors!

SnapWireless PowerPack Universal Travel Charger

I used this SnapWireless PowerPack Universal Travel Charger on our spring trip to Portugal, and I love it. It comes with international plug adapters and can charge multiple things at the same time with or without a plug.

Scrubba Portable Wash Bag

Since our trip is a few weeks long and we’re only bringing carryon luggage, I’m packing this Scrubba Portable Wash Bag. I used this on our last trip to Europe with some success. Doing laundry on vacation isn’t my favorite thing, so I’ve also pre-booked serviced laundry on our Norway cruise.

What is your favorite travel accessory to pack on long trips?
