Spotlight on World of Hyatt Business Card (Ending Soon)

April 4, 2022 By Nancy Leave a Comment

See our Advertiser Disclosure and Editorial Note here.

I haven’t talked about the new(ish) Chase World of Hyatt Business Card much on here. It launched last October, and the introductory bonus offer is about to end. Let’s take a closer look.

World of Hyatt Business Card

  • 75,000 bonus points after spending $7500 in the first three months (worth at least $1000)
  • 9x total points for Hyatt stays (4X points from credit card + 5X points from World of Hyatt)
  • 2X points in your top 3 spending categories through 2022
  • 2X points on fitness clubs and gyms
  • $100 in annual Hyatt credits (two $50 credits)
  • World of Hyatt Discoverist status for card member plus up to five employees
  • Access to Hyatt Leverage program (discounts on Hyatt stays for small businesses) with waived requirements
  • Earns 5 elite qualifying nights per $10k annual spend
  • Spend $50k annually and get 10% points rebate (up to 20k points)
  • $199 annual fee

This introductory offers ends on 4/11/22 (likely midday or at 5 p.m. ET).

Who Should Get This Card?

If you have a small business and you love Hyatt properties, this card is a great way to score a big chunk of points. You do have to have fewer than 5/24 cards to be approved, but this card doesn’t count towards your future 5/24 count since it’s a business card.

If you travel a lot to Hyatt hotels, the Hyatt Leverage program may be a good value for discounted cash rates. Unfortunately, this card does not come with an annual free night (unlike the consumer version of the card). The $100 Hyatt credit helps offset the $199 annual fee, so this card has a net cost of $99 for the first year.

Do you plan to get this business card before the opening offer expires?
