Recap: Amex Targeted Offers, Reminder on Chase Hyatt Card Promo, SYWR Deal, Kauai and More

Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter for most important breaking news in the miles and points world!

1) Increased Amex card bonuses are currently showing up for many in Incognito mode. Details on DoC There are quite a few worthwhile offers, so definitely check and see if you are targeted. I really like 25,000 points offer on Amex Everyday. It doesn’t  usually come up on CardMatch, so this is the only way to pull it up (to my knowledge).

2) A reminder to register for Hyatt credit card promo that will give you $30 credit on $300 in-store  purchases at grocery and drug stores. You have till February 28th and I definitely recommend you take advantage of it. Interestingly, I was able to register my credit card, but not my husband’s.

Keep in mind, you can buy popular gift cards  if you can’t spend $300 by February 28th. In fact, I just bought a few Disney and Amazon gift cards myself. A nice bonus: gift card purchases at Winn-Dixie earn 3 Plenti points per dollar, so it’s a nice way to double dip.

3) Not a travel related deal, but I just have to mention it. SYWR portal has brought back this promo:

I don’t normally feature convoluted deals, but this is a good one. The points post the next day, and you can use them towards wipes, diapers and many other everyday items. Some products ship free, so do your research. Need luggage for your upcoming trip? You can redeem bonus points towards one of these suitcases.

The website is not very user-friendly, but I still think the deal is solid. The prices on wipes are a little bit higher than Amazon but remember, you are getting $60 worth of clothes to make up for it. I got a few winter jackets for my nephews for $26 each, plus few shirts for myself. Here is my post on SYWR

(Hat tip DoC)

4) 4 Amazing things to see and do in Kauai by Travelwithgrant. Ahh, this brings back  memories!

Just received our 2 $30 Hyatt statement credits for buying Disney gift cards for our upcoming trip. I always forget about gift cards at grocery stores.
