Transfer bonuses are a great way to stretch your miles and points. We’ve seen a lot of transfer bonuses over the last few months.
New: Chase 20% Transfer Bonus to Air Canada Aeroplan
From now through 11:59 PM ET on January 15, 2025, get 20% transfer bonus from Chase to Air Canada Aeroplan. If you’re a Chase Aeroplan credit card holder, you can combine this with the extra 10% transfer bonus for transfer of 50,000 points or more. Aeroplan points are useful for booking awards on Star Alliance partner airlines. I’ve used Aeroplan points to book flights on TAP Air Portugal and United.
New: Chase 20% Transfer Bonus to Air France/KLM Flying Blue
From now through 11:59 PM ET on January 15, 2025, get 20% transfer bonus from Chase to Air France/KLM Flying Blue. We’ve seen a 25% transfer bonus in the past. I’ve used Flying Blue miles to book business class flights on Air France from DFW to Europe. You can also use Flying Blue miles to book flights on Delta, Virgin Atlantic and other SkyTeam airline partners.
New: Chase 70% Transfer Bonus to IHG
From now through 11:59 PM ET on January 15, 2025, get 70% transfer bonus from Chase to IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group). The transfer bonus has been up to 80% earlier this year.
New: Amex 25% Transfer Bonus to JetBlue
From now through 12/31/24, get 25% transfer bonus when transferring American Express Membership Rewards to JetBlue. This isn’t a good value for Amex points, but if you need to top off your JetBlue account to book an award, it’s an option.
New: Amex 40% Transfer Bonus to Virgin Atlantic
From now through 12/31/24, get 40% bonus when transferring American Express Membership Rewards to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. We’ve seen a lot of transfer bonuses to Virgin Atlantic this year (including the Chase transfer bonus that just expired). Virgin now has dynamic award pricing, so YMMV. I don’t recommend transferring points unless you see specific award availability now.
Continued: AMEX 35% TRANSFER BONUS TO MARRIOTT BONVOY
From 11/1/24 through 12/31/24, Amex has a 35% transfer bonus to Marriott Bonvoy. I would only transfer if you have a lot of Amex points and you need to top off your account for an award.
Hopefully, we will see more transfer bonuses pop up this month.
