Amex Green New Rule, Icon of the Seas Review and more

Happy Friday, everyone! Lots of credit card news this week.

New Application Restrictions on Amex Green Card: Amex recently added more restrictions to earning the welcome bonus on the Amex Green Card. You cannot earn the bonus if you’ve already earned the bonus on the Amex Platinum or the Amex Gold card. Ugh! See this post on One Mile at a Time.

Amex Delta Offers with NO Lifetime Restrictions (Targeted): Amex has a “once in a lifetime” rule for getting a welcome bonus from cards or “card family.” But, sometimes Amex sends out targeted offers that leave out this rule. See this post on Miles to Memories.

Higher Welcome Bonuses on Chase IHG Cards: The Chase IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card has an increased bonus of 165,000 points for a limited time through 4/3/24. I’ll write more about this next week in a separate post.

Icon of the Seas Reviews: Royal Caribbean’s new gigantic cruise ship, Icon of the Seas, has now sailed its inaugural sailing. Early reviews seem mostly positive! See this review on TPG.
