United Increases Award Prices: I’ve read in several places about United increasing award prices on international flights. United doesn’t have an award chart anymore, but previously you could fly to Europe in Economy for as low as 30k miles. Now, the lowest seems to be 40k. Business and partner awards have also increased. I’ve been tracking award prices to Europe for another trip next year, and I’ve been seeing these higher prices for weeks now. Check out this post on One Mile at a Time. I hope AA doesn’t follow suit! I’ve been seeing great award prices to Europe on AA.
DFW Airport to Build a New Terminal: From View From the Wing, it looks like DFW will finally build a Terminal F and remodel Terminal C. The space is already there for the new terminal, and the Skylink train route is already in place.
Amex Green 60k Welcome Offer: The Amex Green card has a higher welcome offer of 60k points after spending $3000 in the first 6 months. The offer comes with up to $200 in statement credits to offset the $150 annual fee. I plan to write more about this card next week.
Genius Hack or Working the System to get Free Flights?: Check out this post on Your Mileage May Vary. I think this falls under “working the system”. What do you think?
Enjoy your weekend!
