(LAST CALL) SOUTHWEST PERSONAL CREDIT CARDS 75K BONUS!

July 11, 2022 By Leana Leave a Comment

See our Advertiser Disclosure and Editorial Note here.

Update: Today is your last chance to apply for these increased offers (at least for awhile)

All three Southwest credit cards now have a bonus of 75,000 points! Let’s take a look.

THE OFFER

For all three personal cards, spend $5000 in the first three months and get 75,000 bonus points. Affiliate links:

Chase Southwest Rapid Rewards Plus Credit Card ($69 annual fee)

Chase Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier Credit Card ($99 annual fee)

Chase Southwest Rapid Rewards Priority Credit Card ($149 annual fee)

The “normal” bonus on these cards is 40,000 points, so if you’re planning to get this card, now is a great time.

You can only own one Southwest personal card at a time. You are not eligible for the bonus if you’ve received a Southwest bonus in the past 24 months. In addition, Chase will not likely approve you for a new card if you’ve opened 5 or more new cards in the past 24 months. See this post for more information.

WHY I LOVE SOUTHWEST

I fly on Southwest Airlines frequently, and I love its frequent flyer program. Since I live near a Southwest hub in Dallas, I have plenty of destinations to choose from when using my Southwest Rapid Rewards points.

But, my favorite thing about Southwest points is their flexibility. If you book a flight on points and the price goes down, you can re-book at the lower price and get some of your points back. You can also easily cancel your flight and receive a refund in points.

My family has used Southwest points to fly to New York, Colorado, Florida and Mexico numerous times.

I’m not sure how long this elevated bonus offer will last.

PS–The public 80k offer on the Chase Sapphire Preferred card has expired, but as of now it’s still available through my referral link. These points are transferrable to Southwest Airlines and other travel partners.
