Last week, I received an email from Chase (two emails, actually). Each email contained an incentive offer for bonus points on my Chase Ink business cards.
The Offer
The offer is simple:
- Get an extra 5000 points for spending $5000 between 5/1/22 and 7/31/22.
- Offer is valid up to three times during the promotion period (so 15,000 bonus points total)
- Must activate promotion (it’s not automatic)
Since I have two Chase Ink cards, and each of them has the offer, I can potentially earn 30,000 bonus points.
From my email:
If you didn’t get an email with this offer, you can still click on this link to see if you are targeted. As far as I can tell, only Ink business cards have been targeted, not co-branded cards (i.e. airline and hotel cards).
I don’t participate in manufactured spending for the most part, so I won’t be charging $30,000 in the next three months. But some folks can easily charge that much and get some extra points from this special promotion. Participating in this promotion is another strategy (in addition to credit card sign-up) bonuses that can increase your miles and points balances.
Are you targeted for this promo, and will you participate?
