Today is a big day for Disney Cruise Line announcements, despite the pandemic and the current CDC no-sail order.
DCL just revealed Spring 2022 itineraries. Most other cruise lines have already had these cruises available to book for months, but DCL tends to start bookings later.
The most exciting news from the release are 2 Hawaii cruises on the Disney Wonder. On 4/26/22, the ship sails from Vancouver to Honolulu on a 10-day journey with stops on Maui, Kauai and Oahu. On 5/6/22, the Wonder sails back to Vancouver visiting the same islands plus the big island.
Itineraries by Ship
Disney Dream: Sails 3- and 4-night cruises to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral. Ports includes Nassau and Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island. One itinerary on 3/7/22 includes two stops at Castaway Cay.
Disney Fantasy: Sails 6- and 7-night cruises to the Caribbean. Ports include San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Tortola, Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Falmouth and Castaway Cay.

Disney Wish Delayed
DCL also announced that its newest ship, the Disney Wish, will now sail its maiden voyage in Summer 2022. Originally, this ship was due to sail in Fall 2021, and then it was pushed to Spring 2022. However, due to the pandemic, construction has been delayed more, pushing it to Summer 2022. h/t Disney Cruise Line Blog
Even though I’m not booking any of these sailings, for some reason I still get giddy every time DCL makes an announcement. Will you be booking anything on DCL next week? Are you surprised by any of these itineraries or the delay of the Disney Wish?
