We’ve been dealing with major technical issues on our website over the last few days. Several hours of phone calls, online chats et cetera, et cetera. Most of it is Greek to me, though Nancy is more IT savvy, thank goodness. Running a self-hosted site can be a major pain in the behind, to put it mildly.
We are still learning how to navigate the whole thing, though this last issue wasn’t our fault. One of the plugins had an update and it wasn’t compatible with our site. So it crashed the whole darn thing. We turned the plugin off to get the site back up and in the process, our subscription service was also disconnected. Anyway, hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here on out. Till another problem rears its ugly head, that is.
If you ever have issues getting our posts via email, please let us know. We won’t always be able to implement a fix, but we’ll give it our best shot. In some cases you may need to re-subscribe with a different email address. Few of our readers had to do just that, but it solved the problem. Rest assured, we value our subscribers and want to make sure that you always hear our rants loud and clear!
