This is a quick follow-up on my post from Sunday. In it, I’ve mentioned that you have to be staying on Starpoint-eligible rate in order to utilize Sheraton club access benefit. Dan from Pointswithacrew has reached out to me via Twitter and mentioned that pure award stays do qualify. That actually contradicts the terms of the card, so I did some research. Well, as it turns out, Dan was right!
Greg from Frequent Miler blog has reached out to SPG representative for clarification and was told that award redemptions (not just cash+points) do count. That’s great news, and could really make the case for going with business version of the offer. Of course, I assume that you can handle the minimum spending requirements and have an actual business. See my post for more on this 35K points’ bonus offer, which contains the link to the article on Frequent Miler site. Be aware, I’m operating under the assumption that the SPG rep was correct, which isn’t always the case.
Sorry for confusion and please, don’t ever hesitate to let me know if information in my blog is erroneous. I’m not perfect and even though I did do some research on this benefit, clearly, it wasn’t sufficient. This blog is a community effort and I need your help in making sure everything I publish is correct. I promise, I won’t get my feelings hurt if someone points out an error or two.

How about Four Points Hotels? They’re part of Sheraton, do we get the Sheraton benefits with that?

Fred, check this link http://sheratonclubroom.com/find/ It should list all hotels that have Sheraton club. I’m not super familiar with this benefit, so I’m learning as I go. Hope this helps!
