This is an extra post because the news item is significant. It appears that Club Carlson is dumping its “second night free” perk available to cardholders. They are replacing it with a free night after you spend $10,000 per year. You have till May 28th to take advantage of “second night free” benefit. You can see full details in Frequent Miler post.
I’ve been burning my Club Carlson points because I anticipated something along these lines and even mentioned it in my post few weeks ago. This program is not to be trusted. I recommend you make your bookings right now because everyone will be rushing to dump their Club Carlson points before the end of May.
