1. Through September 15th, you can get a 25% bonus when transferring to Jet Blue program from Amex Membership Rewards. So effectively, the ratio becomes 1:1. You can get around 1.1-1.8 cents per point, depending on the route.

You can also pool your miles with other family members, a great perk. Jet Blue program is similar to Southwest, where you can redeem points for any seat. The transfer is instant, so check your route and price first.

Incidentally, Jet Blue program is running a special of 25% off their redemptions, stackable with Amex bonus. It’s valid today only, for flights September-November.

2. Earn 1,000 bonus AAdvantage miles by spending $200  while shopping through their portal before August 25th.

4.  If you’ve always wanted  to go to Cuzco, Peru to see Machu Pichu, there are some crazy good deals from certain cities. For example, Orlando-Cuzco priced out at $442 per person, all-in over Thanksgiving holidays. The flight from Washington DC was only $400 roundtrip. There are other cities as well, but they are higher.
