Hits and Misses from our Day at Tokyo DisneySea

June 25, 2025 By Nancy 9 Comments

A group of five people is standing in front of a body of water with a scenic backdrop. Behind them, there is a rocky mountain with a castle-like structure and a ship. The people are smiling and posing for the photo, with some of them having their arms around each other. The scene appears to be at a theme park or tourist attraction.

On my recent trip to Japan and China, I visited the last two Disney theme parks I had on my bucket list. Before I reveal my favorite Disney park, I will review the latest two I visited. Here are the hits and misses from our day at Tokyo DisneySea. Hit: Unique Design and Structures Without […]

Booked: Round-trip Flights to Thailand in Business Class Using Miles and Points!

June 18, 2025 By Nancy 6 Comments

The image shows a vibrant scene of a traditional Thai temple complex. In the foreground, there is an ornate building with a richly decorated roof featuring intricate gold patterns and pointed spires. To the left, a tall pagoda with multiple tiers and niches containing statues is visible. A large statue of a standing figure is in the center, surrounded by lush green foliage. The sky is bright blue with scattered white clouds, adding to the serene atmosphere.

Yes, I did just come back from a trip to Asia. But, I’m not done exploring the area, and I want to go while I’m still “young” -ish. My daughter and I set our sights on visiting Thailand next year, which is a longer flight than flights to Japan and China. My goal was to […]

Better Than Expected: AA Premium Economy Shanghai PVG to DFW

June 17, 2025 By Nancy Leave a Comment

The image shows two airplane seats in a premium cabin. The seats are made of dark leather and have headrests. There is a pillow and a small blanket placed on one of the seats. The seats are positioned next to two windows, and there is a small armrest with a control panel between them. The floor is carpeted, and there are seatback pockets visible.

Yesterday, I wrote about our flights to Japan in Premium Economy on Japan Airlines. Coming back to the U.S., my daughter and I flew from Shanghai to DFW on AA in Premium Economy. I was dreading the 14-hour flight home, partly due to the length but also because I assumed the food and service on […]
