It’s Official: Redeem AAdvantage Miles on Hawaiian Airlines Mainland-to-Hawaii Flights After a 9-Year Hiatus! On my very first trip to Hawaii, we used AA miles to fly on Hawaiian Airlines. Shortly after, AA no longer allowed that redemption. Now, it’s back! See this post on View From the Wing. Hawaiian Airlines also flies to other destinations in Asia. Note: You can also now book Hawaiian Airlines flights using Alaska miles without having to transfer them to Hawaiian miles first.
