New month, new transfer bonuses!
New: Chase 20% Transfer Bonus to Air Canada Aeroplan
Between April 1 and April 30, 2026, get 20% transfer bonus from Chase to Air Canada Aeroplan. Chase Aeroplan cardholders can stack that with an additional 10% transfer bonus for transfers of 50,000 or more points. Aeroplan points are very useful for booking award flights on Star Alliance partners. In fact, I recently used Aeroplan points to book award flights on Thai Airways for my upcoming trip to Thailand.
New: Chase 70% Transfer Bonus to IHG
Between April 1 and April 30, 2026, get 70% transfer bonus from Chase to IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group). You can get much more value by transferring Chase points to Hyatt, plus you can buy IHG points for cheaper, so I don’t recommend this transfer, even with the bonus.
New: Capital One 30% Transfer Bonus to JAL
Between April 1 and April 30, 2026, get 30% transfer bonus from Capital One to Japan Airlines Mileage Bank. This is the 3rd transfer bonus to JAL from Capital One since the partnership as announced last year. Combined with the recent Bilt Rent Day transfer bonus to JAL, I assume that saver award flights on JAL will be much harder to get.

Between March 22 and April 18, 2026, get 30% transfer bonus from Citi to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. Virgin Atlantic has dynamic award pricing, and points can also be used on partner airlines like Delta, ANA and Air New Zealand.

Between March 22 and April 18, 2026, get 30% transfer bonus from Citi to Avianca LifeMiles. LifeMiles are useful to book awards on Star Alliance partners, although the LifeMiles website can be glitchy and frustrating to use.
