I’ve got some major expenses coming up–namely, my home insurance and property taxes. You know what that means: It’s time to sign up for a new credit card and get some bonus miles from paying these expenses! But which card? (See Beginner’s Guide: 7 Steps to Free Travel with Miles and Points).
Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite Card
Back in August when the new Bank of America Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite Credit Card (non-affiliate link) launched, my husband applied for it and was approved. I didn’t apply for it at that time because we needed to focus on meeting the minimum spend for just one credit card at a time.
We met the minimum spending on that card and received 100,000 Alaska miles. And now, Bank of America is advertising that this offer is ending soon. So, the time was right for me to apply.
My stats: I currently own 2 personal Bank of America credit cards plus one business card. I’ve opened 2 new personal cards and 2 new business cards in the past 24 months.
I was approved instantly for the Bank of America Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite Credit Card!

Why this card?
Alaska miles have been extremely valuable to me in the last few years. I’ve used them to book several American Airlines flights (both domestically and internationally). In the next few months, I’m hoping to book some flights to Asia on Starlux Airlines (Alaska Airlines partner). I’m certain I will have no issues putting these miles to good use.
