So what do you do for flights out of Houston? Do you rent a car for one way? Take a bus or a short flight?
@CW I’ve taken short flights for the Houston leg, but the bus is also an option.
I’m not a big fan of positioning flights but I did rent a car and drove five hours to JFK to catch an AA flight to London with no fuel surcharges rather than take the BA flight from my local airport. Saved roughly $800 after rental expenses and tolls for a family of four. Was it worth it? Still deciding!
@Jon That sounds worth it to me! But of course I wasn’t the one doing the driving. 🙂
