Final Days for CSP 100k Bonus Offer

May 13, 2025 By Nancy Leave a Comment

Last month, Chase increased the bonus on the Chase Sapphire Preferred card to 100,000 points. Well, all good things must come to an end. This increased offer expires this week on May 15, 2025 at 9 a.m. EDT.

Chase Sapphire Preferred Card

Chase Sapphire Preferred (Nancy’s referral link and Leana’s referral link), This is the #1 card I recommend for newbies in this miles and points travel hobby due to its flexibility. Note that you can get an extra $100 if you apply through Rakutan portal.

Earn 100,000 points after spending $5000 in the first 3 months.

  • 3X points on dining, select streaming services, select online grocery stores
  • 5X points on travel booked through Chase travel
  • 2X points on other travel
  • 1X points on all other purchases
  • 10% anniversary points based on points earned during full year
  • $50 annual Chase Travel hotel credit
  • DoorDash DashPass for 12 months
  • $95 annual fee

Note: You can only own one Chase Sapphire product, so you are not eligible if you already own the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. You cannot get the bonus if you’ve received a bonus on any Chase Sapphire card in the past 48 months. Chase likely won’t approve you for this card if you’ve opened 5 or more new credit cards in the past 24 months. See this page for more info.

Chase Ultimate Rewards are my favorite currency because there are so many ways to spend them.

  • Points are worth 1 cent each for cash back, so this bonus is worth $1000!
  • Points are worth 1.25 cents if you spend them in the Chase Travel portal. So, this bonus means you can spend $1250 on flights, hotels, or rental cars through Chase Travel!
  • You can also transfer Chase points to several airline and hotel partners for even more value.
    • Aer Lingus
    • Air Canada
    • British Airways
    • Emirates
    • Air France/KLM
    • Iberia
    • JetBlue
    • Singapore Airlines
    • Southwest Airlines
    • United
    • Virgin Atlantic
    • IHG Hotels
    • Marriott
    • Hyatt
A collection of red and black suitcases is arranged on a gold hotel luggage cart. The suitcases vary in size, with some stacked on top of others. The background features a white wall with decorative paneling.
