This morning, Bilt Rewards revealed details for May Rent Day (May 1, 2025). The biggest news is the one-day transfer bonus to Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards based on Bilt Rewards status:
- Platinum: 100% transfer bonus
- Gold: 75% transfer bonus
- Silver: 50% transfer bonus
- Blue: 25% transfer bonus
Southwest Airlines is Bilt’s newest transfer partner that was just announced yesterday. This is a sizable transfer bonus and tempting for many Bilt Rewards members.
However, Southwest Airlines has not been as useful to my family lately, so we are going to pass. I also decided to pass on last month’s British Airways Rent Day transfer bonus to conserve Bilt points for a future Alaska Airlines transfer.
My husband got the no-fee Bilt credit card (personal referral link) primarily to earn points for paying my son’s college apartment rent. The card doesn’t have a welcome bonus, but some new card owners receive an offer for 5X on spending for the first 5 days of the card.
Every 1st of the month, Bilt celebrates “Rent Day” by giving double points for purchases on that day only:
- 6X on dining
- 4X on travel
- 2X on all other purchases
You can only earn a maximum of 1000 bonus points each month.
