Two New Transfer Bonuses

February started out as a slow month for transfer bonuses, but over the last two weeks more opportunities have emerged. Here are the latest two transfer bonuses:

New: Citi 20% Transfer Bonus to Qatar Avios

From now through March 15, 2025, get 20% transfer bonus when transferring from Citi ThankYou points to Qatar Privilege Club Avios. You can transfer Qatar Avios to other Avios programs (British Airways, Iberia, Finnair, Aer Lingus). My favorite use of Avios is to fly from DFW to Madrid in Premiun Economy or Business class for a very reasonable amount (as low as 42,500 Avios for business class on off-peak dates). I only recommend this transfer if you see award availability you can book now. Bank transfers to the Avios programs are very common, and in fact Chase has one scheduled for next month already.

New: Accor ALL to Japan Airlines 20% Conversion Bonus

From March 1 – March 31, 2025, get a 20% bonus conversion rate when converting between Accor ALL (hotels include Fairmont, Sofitel and more) to Japan Airlines. See this post on Loyalty Lobby for more details. Japan Airlines miles are hard to earn since no major banks transfer to JAL. Most people use partner airlines (Alaska, American British Airways, Cathay Pacific) to book JAL award flights.
