75k Bonus on Amex Blue Business Plus, Lie Flat on a Budget and More

January 17, 2025 By Nancy 2 Comments

Amex Blue Business Plus: Earn 75,000 Bonus Points with $6K Spend (Targeted): This is a great credit card welcome bonus on a no-annual-fee card. This is a non-affiliate link, but unfortunately I was not targeted for it after I signed in. But it’s worth checking to see if you’re targeted. See this post on Danny the Deal Guru.

75k Bonus on Bank of American Alaska Airlines Business Card: This offer is 5k more miles than the previous offer. See this post on Miles to Memories.

Lie Flat on a Budget: 9 Business Class Flights You Can Book for 50k Miles or Less: This is a great resource on AwardWallet! I’ve flown on Iberia business class to Europe and it’s a great deal.

The World’s Longest Flight Wasn’t All Sunshine and Rainbows: In 2023, we published a guest post from Harmony on her experience in Premium Economy in Singapore Airlines JFK to SIN. Here is a recent review of a business class seat from Travel On Points. That seat sounds weird and uncomfortable. No, thanks!

Have a great weekend!

Some good resources here – thanks Nancy.
    Amex Blue Biz looks intriguing…
Nice options for biz awards under 50K: used Iberia once – it’s a decent product, but I also liked their Premium Econ for 7-hour flight (and less miles). For the low AerLingus biz awards – good luck finding them; those used to be regular in the past but pretty much no-show nowadays, even after airline expanded the routes.

Considering trying out the world longest flight JFK to SIN (19 hrs) on Singapore Airlines Biz class? Think twice – did it in 2023 due to Cathay cancellation, and regretted using them – very uncomfortable seat indeed, especially for taller people, unaccommodating crew, and insignificant food options. Sitting position is OK although one armrest is very thin, but flat bed is narrow and awkward, small footrest.

    Choose wisely 😉
    Happy travels!!

@Aleks I liked the Iberia Premium Economy seat as well. Those Singapore business class seats sound awful.
