November 2024 Transfer Bonuses

It’s a new month with several new transfer bonuses! So far, there are 4 new transfer bonuses and 5 that have continued from September/October.

New: Capital One 20% Transfer Bonus to British Airways

From 11/1/24 through 12/1/24, Capital One has a 20% transfer bonus to British Airways Avios. Keep in mind that you can transfer British Airways Avios to Aer Lingus, Iberia, Finnair, Qatar. We’ve seen higher transfer bonus to British Airways from other banks, but if you have a lot of Capital One miles, this could be a good opportunity.

New: Amex 15% Transfer Bonus to Cathay Pacific

From 11/1/24 through 11/30/24, Amex has a 15% transfer bonus to Cathay Pacific Asia Miles. You can use Asia Miles to fly go Asia or use miles on Oneworld partner airlines like AA and Qantas.

New: Amex 15% Transfer Bonus to Avianca

From 11/1/24 through 11/30/24, Amex has a 15% transfer bonus to Avianca LifeMiles. You can use LifeMiles to fly on Star Alliance partner airlines, like United and Lufthansa (with no fuel surcharges).

New: Amex 35% Transfer Bonus to Marriott Bonvoy

From 11/1/24 through 12/31/24, Amex has a 35% transfer bonus to Marriott Bonvoy. Keep in mind that Chase has a higher 50% transfer bonus through 11/15/24 (see below). I would only transfer if you have a lot of Amex points and you need to top off your account for an award.

Continued from October: CITI 30% TRANSFER BONUS TO VIRGIN ATLANTIC

From now through November 16, 2024, get 30% bonus when transferring Citi ThankYou points to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. Keep in mind that Chase is currently running a 40% transfer bonus (see below). Starting in November, Virgin Atlantic is moving to dynamic award pricing. So, peak travel award flights will most likely cost more.

From now through November 16, 2024, get 20% bonus when transferring Citi ThankYou points to Wyndham Rewards.

Continued from October: AMEX 20% TRANSFER BONUS TO AIR FRANCE/KLM FLYING BLUE

From now through November 11, 2024, get 20% bonus when transferring American Express Membership Rewards points to Air France/KLM Flying Blue. I’ve flown on both Air France and KLM between USA and Europe on Flying Blue miles.

Continued from October: CHASE 40% TRANSFER BONUS TO VIRGIN ATLANTIC

From now through 11:59PM EST on November 30 2024, get 40% bonus when transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards to Virgin Atlantic. This is the highest transfer bonus we’ve seen from Chase to Virgin Atlantic. Starting in November, Virgin Atlantic is moving to dynamic award pricing. So, peak travel award flights will most likely cost more.

CONTINUED FROM SEPTEMBER: CHASE 50% TRANSFER BONUS TO MARRIOTT

Now through 11:59 PM ET November 15, 2024 , get 50% bonus when you transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards to Marriott. I only recommend doing this transfer if you need to top off your Marriott Bonvoy account for a specific award.
