If you have small business or a side hustle, earning miles and points with a business credit card is a great way to boost your stash. Capital One just added back a business card with a decent cash back (or potentially miles) bonus.
It’s Back: Capital One Spark Cash
Capital One has several version of the Spark Cash card, and I have the Capital One Spark Cash Select card myself (see this post). But the original Capital One Spark Cash card (non-affiliate link) is back with a solid welcome offer:
- Get $750 cash back after spending $7500 in the first 3 months
- If you own a Capital One card that earns miles (like the Venture Rewards or Venture X cards), you can transfer the cash back to that card to convert to miles ($7500 cash back is 75,000 Capital One miles)
- 2% cash back on every purchase
- 5% cash back on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel portal
- No foreign transaction fees
- $95 annual fee waived for the first year
I love Capital One miles for award travel. I’ve transferred my miles to British Airways and Air France/KLM Flying Blue in the past. Capital One transfer partners include:
- Aeromexico Club Premier
- Air Canada – Aeroplan®
- Cathay Pacific – Asia Miles
- Avianca LifeMiles
- British Airways Executive Club
- Choice Privileges®2
- Emirates Skywards
- Etihad Guest
- Finnair Plus
- Flying Blue
- Qantas Frequent Flyer
- Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer
- TAP Miles&Go
- Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles
- Virgin Red
- Wyndham Rewards
- EVA Air – Infinity MileageLands
- ALL – Accor Live Limitless
The downside to this business card is that it may show up on your personal credit report and affect your Chase 5/24 status. Your mileage may vary.

U R right Nancy, this is a fantastic card to get! I was unaware of the conversion to miles. Although, I will have to wait as I am in the middle of spending targets for multiple Amex cards. Good to know when the time comes!

@GBSanDiego Hopefully this offer will be around for a while longer. As far as I can tell, there is no announced end date.
