Last Friday, I saw a few blogs mentioned a targeted Chase offer for $100 off a travel booking of $500 or more when using the Chase Travel booking portal. I normally don’t pay attention my “Chase Offers” section that much, but $100 off is compelling.
Chase Offers
In case you’re not familiar, Chase Offers are discounts or incentives to make purchases at specific companies. Some offers are targeted to only some cardholders, so you have to check your specific Chase Offers for these deals.
If you’re on a computer, the Chase Offers section is on the right side of your account dashboard.
In the Chase mobile app, you can click on “More” at the bottom and then “Chase Offers”:
I was excited to see that the $100 off travel was in my Chase Offers for my Chase Sapphire Preferred card:
And, my husband was also targeted for his Chase Sapphire Reserve card!
The deal was for $100 cash back after spending $500 or more in the Chase Travel portal by 10/31/24.
I had been considering booking some flights with cash for a trip next year, and this $100 off was the incentive I needed. I booked one flight through my Chase account, and the other through my husband’s for a total of $200 off. We will both earn 5X points on these purchases. (Note: I did check to make sure the price on Chase Travel was the same as booking directly on AA.com).
After I booked these flights, I noticed in a post on Loyalty Lobby that some folks were also targeted for additional savings offers through the Chase My Bonus page. Sure enough, I had another offer:
This offer would give me 20,000 bonus points for a hotel stay or 10,000 bonus points for flights, car rentals, cruises, activities and tours through Chase travel (minimum $400 purchase). I activated the offer, in hopes that it would still work even after booking my flight since it hadn’t officially hit my account yet.
Bottom Line
Check your Chase Offers to see if you’re targeted for this $100 off $500 in Chase Travel. Also, check your Chase My Bonus offers to see if you have any bonus points offers. Before you book anything, make sure the price through Chase Travel is not higher than booking directly.

Yes, nice offers from Chase. I guess they want more people booking thru their portal for holiday travel – make sense.
I only got 10,000 UR points with $400 spend offer on the second part, so will see if I can find something workable with what I’d like to book. I assume you can book few things with combined $500+ total spend, like car rental + hotel to get qualified for both offers together ($100 cash back + 10K points)?

@Aleks I’m not actually sure if you can combined car rental + hotel to get to the $500? I would verify with Chase before you try that.
