Alaska/Hawaiian Transfers Live, Southwest Changes and More

September 27, 2024 By Nancy 1 Comment

Alaska/Hawaiian Airlines Mileage Transfers Now Live: I’m really surprised this happened so fast, but this is great news for anyone who is collecting Hawaiian Airlines miles to transfer to Alaska Airlines. See this post on Frequent Miler.

Southwest Airlines Golden Age is Gone: Why Their New Plan Won’t Bring Back Their Edge: Southwest Airlines revealed more details of upcoming changes to investors this week. We already knew that assigned seating was coming. The most interesting change to me is the upcoming partnership with Icelandair. See this post on View From the Wing for interesting insight.

Southwest Extends Flight Schedule: Speaking of Southwest Airlines, the airline extended its flight schedule this week. Now, you can book flights through June 4, 2025. On October 24, 2024, Southwest will open schedules through August 4, 2025.

SkyTeam Adds Eurostar as First Non-airline Partner: This partnership is expected to launch next year. See more details on One Mile at a Time.

Wells Fargo Adds Virgin as 7th Transfer Partner: This is good news for Wells Fargo points collectors. See this post on Award Wallet. Use your points for flights or cruises!
