September 2024 Transfer Bonuses

So far, September has one new transfer bonus and two that carry over from late August.

New: Citi 25% Transfer Bonus to Leading Hotels of the World

Now through 11:59 pm ET on October 19, 2024, get 25% bonus points when you transfer Citi ThankYou points to Leading Hotels of the World Leaders Club. See this post on Award Wallet for all the details.

New: Citi 25% Transfer Bonus to Avianca LifeMiles

Now through 11:59 pm ET on October 19, 2024, get 25% bonus when you transfer Citi ThankYou points to Avianca LifeMiles. Avianca is part of Star Alliance network, and you can sometimes find good deals on United domestic award flights.

New: Chase 50% Transfer Bonus to Marriott

Now through 11:59 PM ET November 15, 2024 , get 50% bonus when you transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards to Marriott. I only recommend doing this transfer if you need to top off your Marriott Bonvoy account for a specific award.

American Express 30% Transfer Bonus to Hilton

Get 30% more Hilton Honors points when you transfer Amex Membership Rewards from now through 9/30/24. The transfer ratio with this bonus is 1:2.6. We’ve seen Hilton transfer bonuses as high as 50% before. But, if you need points to top off your account for an award, this could be a good option.

AMEX 30% TRANSFER BONUS TO AVIOS

From now through 9/30/24, American Express has a 30% transfer bonus to Aer Lingus, British Airways and Iberia. You can transfer Avios among these three programs plus transfer to Qatar and Finnair. I’ve used Iberia Plus Avios a few times in the past year to fly on business class to Europe, which is as low as 34k from Chicago and the East Coast.

Capital One 20% Transfer Bonus to Flying Blue

Capital One has a 20% transfer bonus to Air France/KLM Flying Blue program through 9/29/24. I’ve used Flying Blue miles for award flights to Europe and for partner award flights to Hong Kong. I don’t recommend transferring until you see specific awards you want to book.
