Fiji Airways Launches Dallas to Fiji Non-stop Flight: I was excited to see this news of a new nonstop flight in the works from DFW to Fiji starting in December. Even if you don’t live near DFW, this flight is good news for Midwest and East Coast flyers to the South Pacific. Virgin Launches New US Mastercard with Synchrony: Virgin Red will soon have a new credit card with 40,000 bonus points. See this post on Loyalty Lobby. I’m not too impressed with the welcome bonus and the earnings on monthly spending, but people who have already had most other credit cards may see this as a viable option.

Wyndham Timeshare Promotion: Stays for 7500 Points, or Earn 30,000 Points: If you don’t mind sitting through a timeshare presentation and saying NO over and over again, this is a good deal for an inexpensive getaway at a Wyndham timeshare. See this post on Award Wallet. Keep in mind that you can transfer Capital One miles and Citi ThankYou points (which currently has a 20% transfer bonus through August 17) to Wyndham.

Hyatt Adds First Hotel in Belize: Next year, Hyatt will have its first hotel in Belize. The Placencia Resort will re-open after a $10 million dollar renovation. I loved visiting Belize last year, and I’m intrigued by this resort. See this post on The Bulkhead Seat.
