Last month, I lamented on a post that I was unable to get Anne Frank House tickets in Amsterdam because I neglected to set a reminder on my calendar. Tickets are released every Tuesday at 3 a.m. CST for 6 weeks later, and they usually sell out in a few hours. By the time I remembered, everything was sold out. I was also too late to get tickets to Corrie ten Boom house, which is another museum that shows a hiding place for Jews in the 1940s.
A reddit thread informed me that Anne Frank House releases canceled tickets for the following week every Tuesday at 3 a.m. CST. So, last night I set my alarm to get up in the middle of the night. And sure enough, I found tickets available for my desired date next week!
I couldn’t imagine visiting Amsterdam without visiting Anne Frank House. Thank you, reddit users!
