May 2024 Transfer Bonuses

May 2, 2024 By Nancy 2 Comments

It’s May, and it’s time for new transfer bonuses. Hopefully Capital One will join this list soon.

New bonuses just announced:

Citi to Turkish Airlines

From May 15 through June 15, 2024, get 50% transfer bonus from Citi to Turkish Airlines.

Citi to Qatar

From now through May 31, 2024, Citi has a 30% transfer bonus to Qatar. You can transfer your Qatar Avios to British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus.

Amex to Aeromexico

From now through May 31, 2024, American Express has a 20% bonus to Aeromexico. Note that the transfer time takes from 2-12 days. Aeromexico is part of the SkyTeam alliance (along with Delta, Air France/KLM, etc.)

Chase to Virgin

From now through June 15, 2024, Chase has a 30% transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic. In addition to flights on Virgin Atlantic, you can use Virgin points to book flights on Delta and try to book those elusive business class flights to Japan on ANA. You can also link your Virgin account to Virgin Red and use points to book a Virgin Voyages Cruise.

Chase to Marriott

From now through June 15, 2024, Chase has a 40% transfer bonus to Marriott. You get more bang for your buck if you transfer to Hyatt, so I only recommend doing this transfer if you need to top off your Marriott account for a specific award stay.

The following transfer bonuses started last month but continue into this month:

CITI TO ACCOR

Through May 11, 2024, Citi has a 50% transfer bonus to Accor hotels. This means you get 750 Accor points for every 1000 Citi ThankYou points.

AMEX TO VIRGIN

From now through May 31, 2024, American Express has a 30% transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic. In addition to flights on Virgin Atlantic, you can use Virgin points to book flights on Delta and try to book those elusive business class flights to Japan on ANA. You can also link your Virgin account to Virgin Red and use points to book a Virgin Voyages Cruise.
