Increased Offer on Emirates Skywards Rewards World Elite Mastercard

November 2, 2023 By Nancy 1 Comment

Barclays Emirates credit cards currently have elevated welcome bonuses. Neither of these cards are in our affiliate network, but I’d like to highlight one of the cards that has the lower annual fee of $99. This card is not even in my Top 10 list of cards I’d recommend to newbies in this hobby. It’s more of an option for “grizzled hobby veterans” who have already applied for lower-hanging fruit.

Emirates Skywards Rewards World Elite Mastercard

The Emirates Skywards Rewards World Elite Mastercard (non-affiliate link, h/t Doctor of Credit) by Barclays currently has a 60,000-mile welcome bonus after spending $3000 in the first 90 days. The bonus is 20,000 more miles than its original bonus and 10,000 more miles than its most recent bonus. Offer ends November 14, 2023.

  • 60,000 bonus miles after spending $3000 in the first 90 days
  • 3X miles on Emirates spend
  • 2X miles on travel
  • 1X miles on all other travel
  • Emirates Skywards Silver tier membership during first year (spend $20k annually to keep it)
  • Miles don’t expire as long as you’re a credit card holder
  • 25% discount on Emirates Skywards miles purchases
  • $99 annual fee

Use can use Emirates Skywards miles on its own flights, but beware of high taxes. You can also use miles to fly on partner airlines like Aeroplan, Korean Air, Qantas and TAP Air Portugal. It’s easy to add miles to your stash by transferring from Chase, Capital One, Citi and American Express.

Note: Barclays may not approve you for a credit card if you’ve opened 6 or more new cards in the past 24 months. See this post for more information.
